At present one of the major threats to the environment is dumping of waste. It has been found that the level of toxin has been increased to a large extent. The electronic wastes contribute 70% of the toxic waste. This is because of the content of toxins and carcinogens in electronic waste.
Computer recycling refers to an efficient technique of reusing the computer and electronic waste. We can reuse many components used in computer manufacture like copper, zinc etc. This will also be helpful in many the production of computers efficient thereby reducing the prices of the computers.
During the process, computer and the electronic components are split into small pieces so that they can be divided into their subcomponents easily. The lead glass got from cathode ray tube is used as a fluxing agent. Other metals such a zinc, copper etc are treated separately and taken to the process of metal recycling. The dangerous gases emitted during this process are treated properly so that it doesn?t cause threat to the environment. These kinds of processes are of vital importance in present day?s scenario.
